I can be funny ...

So for the class magazine I've been given the role of the funny side of it. I thought I'd take the opportunity to play with the class photos, paint and how our class sees people. They all look dodgy because I was just going to do them simply. Like they're really dodgy! Things don't match up but oh well. If Mr Brown is in a good mood, we might put them in the school magazine for 9B's page.

A new friend.

So theres this red head chic who's become my friend.

She goes by the name of Leanne Steer.

We met through this other chic Sam Prbz.

Now we're pretty close.

She comes to all the youth activities with us.

We love having her there.

I've only known her for a few months.

But I feel like I've known her all my life.

We can pretty much read each others minds.

We like sarcasm.

We both love Sam.

She does the best presents.

And she's my new friend :)

Sydney Temple Trip.

I should begin by saying I am a slack blogger! I just can't be bothered lately. There's been lots of exciting things to blog about too but I just don't. So I figure a dodgy blog is better than none right? So I'll give a little spill on what it is, and let my favourite pictures tell the story.

Well I was given the opportunity of a life time to fill in an empty spot on the East Ward Youth Temple Trip in August. We went to Sydney on the thursday night and stayed until the monday. The people who attended were =

The awesome weekend went something like this -

Thursday - left from the Launceston Airport thursday evening, arrived in Sydney at about 9.20pm. We got our two mini buses and went to the Temple Accomodation. We settled in our rooms (I was lucky enough to have all the young women in our room) and went to bed.



Friday - We had a morning temple session, then visited the Distribution Centre where Aunty Lee Anne popped in for a visit, we had lunch in the temple gardens and went back to the accomodation. We went on a ferry ride over to the The Rocks, watched two nice fellas make lollies, went back on the ferry. We had tea at Maccas then went ice skating. I was no good at ice skating and always had to be holding onto some one. I fell over alot and looked like the biggest goof out there, but it was fun :)



Saturday - We had another morning temple session, then had a little free time at the acommodation, then headed off to DFO ;) Monique and I had more fun than anyone else I think. We brought lots of things :) After shopping we went to a park that I don't know the name of. We met Chrish there! Then we went to the footy, Geelong vs. Sydney, Jake & I were going for Geelong - they won! ;) After the footy we took a few photos of the temple of a night then bed.



Sunday - We had the opportunity to attend church in Sydney Ward, I can't remember what ward it was but Aunty Lee Anne and Chrish were there so it was a good ward. After church we went back to the accomodation and packed our things up and headed to the temple. We took a few more photos and then had a testimony meeting on the front lawn. It was amazing to me that we were by a main road but the spirit was so strong and we were so focused on the testimonies being born. We then headed off the the airport to head home to the freezing cold Tassie, our home.

The Cook Islands

I have become more and more slack in my blog writing. So I thought I should give it a little post.
In May our family was lucky enough to holiday to the Cook Islands. It was so much fun. We swam, kayaked, ate a lot of fish and chips, sunbaked, shopped, rode four wheelers in the jungle and pretty much just veged out for a week. Here a few of my favourite pictures ...

This is what Mum and I saw at breaky after seminary.

Yes you read it correctly, I went to seminary one morning.
Jordan didn't, but I did. I met Lindsay, TJ, Kayla and the teacher
who has a very long name which I wouldn't be able to spell.

There were three churches around the small island.
This was the main one. It looks so pretty with the
mountains behind it.

The whole island is pretty religious, this was in

one of the local supermarkets.

Just a little local waving to us, she was cute.

I did alot of this at the airports. We had to spend
10 hours at the Auckland Airport.

The Overnighter

A fair few weeks back we had am overnighter down south.It was held at Glen Huon and was loads of fun! The bus trips were just as fun as the actual activities. We had a full on Rock 'n' Roll dance set in the 50's, a very late night which consisted of no sleep, an uplifting testimony meeting, a service project at the PCYC, fun and games and a BIG group photo! Blogspots being stupid and won't let me rearrange the photos so this is gonna have to be the way it is. =)
