Ty's 5th Birthday.

On Sunday we went to Ty Horsman's 5th birthday. It was beautiful weather and I'm sure Ty had a good day. He was all hyped from the start of the day. He had a Bumble Bee Transformer cake made by Jacquie. It looked really good! Here he is blowing out the candles.

Then all the kids pulling the candles out. =)
Heres Ty with one of his Transformers. He pretty much got Transformers and Power Rangers. He got some clothes but wasn't too interested in them.
Look here! Clare's getting fat. =P
And this is my favourite picture. Me and my little cheeky. I really like the picture. Tenae may be quite a photographer. =)

Well done Ladies ...

After winning the 2008 Devonport Stake Billy Cart Race the Deloraine YW celebrated with cake. Thanks to the young men (Mel Corona) we had this delicious cake on Sunday. The young men came in with it for us along with a certificate they had made. They told us they were glad the trophey stays in the ward and told us we had begginers luck (Well thats what Jordan told us all).
We did want to have a nice little ceremony for recieving the trophy from the young men, but turns out when they brought the cake in they couldn't find the trohpey. But we now have it proudly sitting in the young womens room. =)

...

These new Twilight books are just so good! I absolutely love them. Stephenie Meyer the author is a member and has written the best books. They're about vampires ... I know, sounds really stupid but they are really good. Its very romantic. =) If you read them or have read them ... you will be or are in love with Edward Cullen. =) There are four books in the seires - Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn. They are brilliant!!

The Race of the Year ...

Last weekend was the Devonport Stake Billy Cart Race. It was held at a hill in Sheffield which was covered in poo. Lucky Leia and I had planned ahead and rocked up as Deloraine Bogans. =)
We both wore our Woolies flannies, our Dad's flouro orange overalls, gum boots, cool jackets and sunnies. =)

These are our sisters jackets from primary school. We just liked the 'Deloraine and Proud of it' bit. =) Proud to be Deloraine Bogans!!

This is me and my Sam. We're full of good poses for Kieran to take pictures of. =)

By this picture I think we can all tell that the Deloraine Young Women take out the blue ribbonn. Yeah, thats right. Beating ALL the Young Men and ALL Young Women. We won every race we entered and got up to 42 kph. We were all SO happy we won. Our Deloraine YM came into Young Womens on Sunday with a cake of congratulations which was a surprise. They also told us we had to share the cake and if they win we're expected to make them one. Haha, we're yet to take the trophy off them but plan on it. =) A really big thankyou goes to Heath Graham for making our billy cart.
